This vintage steel plate engraving is by Friederich Wilhelm Kuhnert, and was made in1894 in London. Kuhnert (1865-1926) was a German artist who specialised in wildlife. He was especially good at portraying animals in natural settings. The image area is in excellent condition. The image area is in very good condition with attractive coloring. The white margins have some minor indentations.
