Anne Pratt (1806 - 1893) was a botanical illustrator from Kent in England.
Due to poor health she occupied herself by drawing. She became one of the best known botanical illustrators of the Victorian era. Anne wrote more than 20 books, illustrated with chromolithographs of her own artworks. She wrote using simple, plain English yet her descriptions were accurate and illustrations beautiful. Hence, she helped popularise botany in her day.
Here are some of Anne Pratt's botanical prints for you to choose from. They are genuine antiques from the 1860s.
