Barque Dora ex Richard Rickmers
Built in Bremerhaven, this ship was launched in 1881 and named Richard Rickmers. For the next 15 years she sailed under the command of three Captains. In her last command she was commended for saving the lives of the crew of the Swedish barque Amazone when it was sinking in heavy seas.
This lithograph was made in the 1950s by litho-offset on very high quality, thick paper. The paper is creamy white and in excellent condition.
