The Vereenigung was built in 1856 in Dordrecht and for 5 years sailed under this name. In 1861 she was sold to van Praag Bors of Surinam who renamed her Suriname. It is believed that she broke up in 1866 but must have been repaired as in 1877 she was then bought by P. J Vos. From that time on there is no record of her.
This lithograph was made in the 1950s by litho-offset on very high quality, thick paper. The paper is creamy white and in excellent condition.
