This original antique lithograph was made in 1890. It is from a work by A. D Frederickson, a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. This intrepid chap travelled from London eastwards through Arabia, India, the Orient, Japan and the Pacific to the USA. During his travels he sketched interesting scenes, plants and people. On his return to London he had these sketches published as beautifully colored lithographs in his work "Ad Orientem" which described his adventures on the journey.
