Incendie de Village de Chahary
This finely detailed original hand coloured engraving was made in Paris in 1843 for a work by Captain Gabriel-Pierre Lafond and illustrates people from remote and exotic lands in an era of travel and exploration.
This is a genuine antique, not a reproduction and is in very good condition.
This is a steel plate engraving, on medium weight paper with the image on one side and it is blank on the reverse side. The paper is a creamy tone, slightly darker at the edge.
