Deutzia Crenata Flore Pleno

This is an antique, hand finished chromolithograph from the Florist and Pomologist by Robert Hogg and was made in Covent Garden, London in 1862 and dedicated to the Princess of Wales. This is an original antique, not a reproduction. It was hand finished by an artist who painted some of the detailed colors and occasionally applied shellac here and there to enhance the colors. It is in very good condition. The colors are strong and impressive. The paper is creamy white. There are a few minor specks of foxing.
