Sir David Scott
An East Indiaman built in 1821. She made six voyages to China for the East India company, her best round trip being her third when she left Cowes in February 1828 to arrive back in the Thames at the end of March 1829. Most voyages by Indiaman in those days took three months of the year.
This lithograph was made in the 1950s by litho-offset on very high quality, thick paper. The paper is creamy white and in excellent condition.
