A.D. Frederickson was an adventurer and Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society in the late 1800s.
He travelled from London to Arabia, India, China, the Orient and over the pacific to the USA.
During his travels, he sketched interesting scenes, plants and people. He arrived back in London in the 1890s.
He had his sketches made into colourful lithographs.
