Henry Seebohm (1832 - 1895) was a British botanist and ornithologist. From a young age he loved natural history and soon realised his passion was ornithology.
Henry made his fortune in steel manufacturing. This enabled him to travel overseas to study birds and collect their eggs. He left his collection of 17,000 bird-skins to the British Museum.
