This original antique engraving is from a work by Francis Grose who created some fascinating and attractive engravings of ancient artillery, fortification, armour, and weapons. It was made by copper plate engraving in 1812 on medium weight, chain-linked cotton rich, paper. There is some marginal foxing which is shown in the scan otherwise good condition.
