James Andrews (1801–1876) was an award-winning English botanical painter and illustrator.
James was good enough to have an exhibition at The Royal Academy in London. He also taught flower-painting to young ladies.
These days, the National Portrait Gallery of London has several of his artworks.
James had a special talent for meticulously illustrating flowers from nature. His hand-colored botanical lithographs are great examples of this.
