Agathis australis
Kauri forests are among the most ancient in the world and the largest species of tree in New Zealand. It was much sought after for ship and house building in the 19th century.

This is an antique lithograph of New Zealand flora. It is from a work by Thomas Frederic Cheeseman and was published in 1914 in Wellington, New Zealand. At the time the botany of New Zealand was poorly known so Cheeseman made many collecting trips to gather specimens. It was made on smooth, fine quality paper and has beautiful hand painted colour. It is in excellent condition. The accompanying text is available on request.
