This is an antique chromolithograph of poultry by Mr J. W. Ludlow of England, an artist who specialized in domesticated birds. His poultry illustrations are considered classics and are reproduced in posters today. The birds are shown in a natural farm settings, and Ludlow skillfully conveyed each bird's temperament. Each print contains Ludlow's signature. This is an original antique, not a reproduction. It was made in the 1890s by chromolithography on mid-weight paper and is in excellent condition.
