Showing Captain Cook's voyages between 1769 and 1779. The southern part of Australia is absent as it had not been mapped. New Zealand is shown.
This antique engraving was made in 1824 and is from "A New And Complete System Of Universal Geography, Or An Authentic History And Interesting Description Of The Whole World And Its Inhabitants" by Christopher Kelly for the firm of Thomas Kelly and was printed by Rider and Weed in Little Britain in London.
