Discover genuine antique prints of marine creatures.
Many marine creatures were a mystery to people up to about 100 years ago. They were rarely seen. They probably inspired legends like mermaids (seals) and sea monsters such as The Kraken (giant squid).
From about 1700, scientists and artists collaborated to illustrate marine creatures. Their illustrations were usually printed as engravings and lithographs. Often they hand painted the colours.
Choose from our big range of marine life such as coral, starfish, seals and other marine mammals. They are genuine antique prints.
