This is a vintage lithograph of decorated sheet music from The Musical Entertainer by George Bickham, which he wrote in he 1730s. The English songs are from the Georgian period and are set to music by composers such as Handel, Purcell, Haydn, Corelli and others. The artistic and musical style of the time was Baroque - grand, exuberant and dramatic. It is embellished with pictures about of the song, expertly hand coloured by our artist.
It is in excellent condition, and was made in the 1950s on watermarked Abbey Mills Greenfield paper.
