Pitmaston Duchess and Durondeau
This is an antique chromolithograph which was made in the 1890s for a work by John Wright, a horticulturist and editor of the London Journal of Horticulture. He created fine works illustrating fruit, vegetables and flowers, using excellent botanical artists such as Miss Gertrude Hamilton & Miss Marie Low.
This is an original antique which is over 100 years old, not a reproduction. It was made on strong, thick paper which has a creamy color and is blank on reverse. Excellent condition. Colors nice and strong. A few of the prints in this set have a few minor dots of foxing. If present this can be seen in the scan above
