Peter Griffin was an artist inspired by travel.
He was expert at clear line drawing. This artistic technique uses lines and solid blocks of colour. This results in eye-catching, bold images that instantly convey essential characteristics.
Griffin admired steam ships and air ships. He studied historical paddle steamers and air ships from around the world. He created beautiful illustrations of famous and beautiful vessels.
