Kent - There has been a manor house on the site since the 12th century. The current building consists of a pair of Tudor wings built for the 10th Baron Cobham in the 16th century.
This original antique lithograph of a British stately home was made in the 1880s by Alexander Francis Lydon. Lydon was a renowned perfectionist. He was expert at creating beautifully coloured prints. He worked for Benjamin Fawcett the printer. He collaborated on his prints of stately homes with Reverend Francis Orpen Morris
