Silver Spangled Hamburg Chickens

22 x 15 cm (8.8 x 5.8 inches).

This is an antique print of poultry by Edwin Megargee (1883-1958) and includes his signature. He created animal portraits which reflected how the animal looked in real life in realistic settings, hence was more of an illustrator that many of his nineteenth century predecessors. This is an original antique and was made in 1921 by photogravure. It is in excellent condition.
