The Flounder

24.5 x 19 cm (10.25 x 7.5 inches).

This beautiful lithograph is from a work by Sir Herbert Maxwell and was made in London in 1904 by Vincent Brooks Day and Sons. It has hand finished coloring including lovely metallic sheens. It was made on thick paper which is blank on the reverse side. The paper is a light creamy white, less bright white than it appears in the above scan. It's in very good condition. There are a few dots of foxing which are unobtrusive. This is an authentic antique lithograph, not a reproduction.
