Turke. The Golden Horse is considered the most beautiful horse in the world. The Golden Horse is a horse breed from Turkmenistan, where they are a national emblem. They have a reputation for speed and endurance, intelligence, and a golden metallic sheen. These horses are thought to be one of the oldest existing horse breeds. There are currently about 6,600 in the world, mostly in Turkmenistan and Russia, although some are in Europe and North America.

This original antique lithograph was made in 1827 by Karl Joseph Brodtmann, the renowned Swiss naturalist and lithographer. Brodtmann's lithographs are detailed, accurately drawn and beautifully composed. This lithograph was made in the 1820s with high quality, thick, matt paper with a subtle creamy tone and slight texture. It has hand painted colors and is in excellent condition.
