Camellia Japonica
46 x 32.5 cm (18 x 12.7 inches)
Satanella
Italy
This is a superb, high quality lithograph by one of the best botanical artists of the 20th century, Paul Jones (1921-1997) an Australian artist who specialized in painting beautiful plants and flowers in a style reminiscent of Thornton's Temple of Flora.
This was made by litho-offset in the 1950s. The paper is thick and light creamy white and is blank on the reverse side.
